US Aircore promotes their planes
as fast assembly - "Fold and Fly"
These planes certainly can be
built quickly but that doesn't mean very careful attention isn't needed to their
- Be sure to fold and check alignment prior
to gluing. If the fuse isn't true trim or otherwise fix it first. In the rare
case that a part isn't creased or punched correctly, call the manufacturer
and get a replacement
- Very carefully follow the instructions on
working the wing creases. Don't cut this step short
- Carefully check the wing for warp as soon
as it is joined and before you add the center wrap. I use wood blocks as a
standoff to compare the sides. This seems to work better than a chair. If
there is any warp FIX it NOW!
- It something doesn't come out straight you
can take it apart.
