My only knowledge of locations to play Petanque on bounded courts is at family orientated clothing optional resorts and campgrounds. I believe it was introduced mainly by European visitors in Florida who tend to be far less body conscious than the average American. I will gladly stand corrected!
It has become extremely widespread in such environments such that one is almost incomplete without prepared courts. I believe it is the character of the game that makes it so popular in family resorts/campgrounds. Since strength and height are relatively unimportant (you can use different weight and size boules) any teen or adult can have fun. The social aspect of random teams is a fantastic way for newcomers to join in.
Thus, I have a single link that leads to almost all locations I'm aware of.
Of course, I've already pointed to a few clubs - if you are aware of other locations (that meet the international Petanque dress code :) please advise me.
